Title: Sales Associate

Candidates must be over 18 years old and fluently speak and understand English, for safety purposes.

The Shoe Expert is responsible for greeting customers and assisting them with finding the best shoe for their needs. This includes the fitting procedure and gait analysis to determine strike pattern and forms.

Job Duties: 

• Welcomes customers by greeting them: offering them assistance

• Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters 

• Expert Product knowledge of available inventory

• Documents sales of merchandise by way of check out via POS

• Processes payments by totaling purchases, cash and credit cards

• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Merchandising the store

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

• Ability to read and write English

• Previous retail sales experience

• Must have reliable transportation

• Running/Fitness environment experience a plus

• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fun and lively environment

• Ability to make your customers feel valued

• Desire to lead by example while inspiring those around you

• Ability to lift 15 lbs. or more

• Ability to stand long periods and climb ladders

Salary Range: $17 per hour, with sales incentive bonuses

Shift Schedule:
PT: 24 hours/week: 
Friday 2:30 - 8:30pm
Saturday 1:30pm - 7:30pm
Sunday 12:30pm - 6:30pm
Monday 2:30pm - 8:30pm

FT: 34 hours/week
Saturday 12:30pm - 5:30pm
Sunday 12:30pm - 5:30pm
Monday 11:30am - 7:30pm
Tuesday 11:30am - 7:30pm
Wednesday 11:30am - 7:30pm

This is a Full-Time, permanent, non-exempt position, complete with benefits eligibility.
