Location: North Richland Hills, TX
Compensation: $21.50/hour 90-day probationary period
Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) OR 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (No lunch)
Position Overview
GritR Sports & Outdoors is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Warehouse Inbound Lead to join our growing team. This is a critical leadership role centered on inventory accuracy, management, and seamless inbound operations.
Working directly alongside the Inbound Supervisor, you will help coordinate team members for inventory induction, enforce operational best practices, assist with inbound shipment coordination, and lead inventory audits (cycle counts) and discrepancy research.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Inventory Management
- Receiving Coordination: Assist in managing incoming shipments and optimizing the receiving dock workflow.
- System Utilization: Operate the Echo Platform proficiently to track and manage inventory.
- Inventory Control: Lead stock (cycle) counts, audit inventory accuracy, and conduct root-cause research on discrepancies.
- SOP & Compliance: Maintain and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency.
Team Leadership & Development
- Staff Support & Training: Onboard, train, and coach new hires and existing team members on best practices.
- Performance Tracking: Assist Supervisor and Management in maintaining KPI reporting, monitoring employee metrics, and providing constructive feedback.
- Documentation: Effectively document employee disciplinary actions and performance milestones in partnership with Supervisor and Management.
- Shift Operations: Oversee daily opening procedures to ensure operational flow for team members.
Communication & Collaboration
- Maintain clear, proactive communication lines between the Inbound Supervisor, Warehouse Managers, and floor team members.
Schedule & Seasonality
- Pre-Peak Season (Jan – Aug): Monday – Friday operations (Weekends off).
- Peak Season (Sep – Dec): Sunday – Saturday operations (as needed based on volume). Mandates a 5-day work week with two designated weekdays off.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse leadership or leadership role.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Language: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand continually for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.
