About the Role:
We’re seeking a Product Development Specialist to join our growing Private Label team. In this role, you’ll help create, refine, and launch innovative outdoor and tactical products that reflect the GRITR brand. From concept sketches to prototype refinement to vendor coordination, this is a hands-on opportunity to bring ideas to life in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, photography, e-commerce), manufacturers, and global suppliers to ensure that every product meets our standards for function, design, and market fit.
What You’ll Do:
Product Development & Innovation
- Develop new private label products in collaboration with manufacturers, from initial concept to final production.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs.
- Review and refine prototypes to ensure durability, functionality, and alignment with GRITR’s quality standards.
- Assist in creating technical documentation such as product specs, manufacturing guidelines, and testing notes.
Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, photography, and listing teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Support sourcing efforts, including working with international partners to ensure cost-efficiency and quality control.
Execution & Quality Control
- Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time product launches.
- Help oversee the quality assurance process from prototype to mass production.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address design improvements or production issues.

Preferred Experience:
- Background in product development, sourcing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with prototyping, CAD software, 3D printing or design drafting (preferred but not required).
- Experience working with domestic and overseas manufacturers.
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools (e.g., Blender, Fusion 360, Maya, 3ds Max) is a plus.
- Interest in outdoor or tactical products; familiarity with firearms is a plus (training provided).
